Thank you so much for the info! That gives me quite a few more details that I didn't have, and confirms my suspicions that the list of birthdates I have from an old family letter is not scrupulously accurate.

Do you have any information at all about a Charles Lewis Parker (my gg-grandfather), born in Bartlett, NH about 1853 or possibly 1848? I suspect he was one of Hiram Parker's children---or at least a close relative---but have no proof (although some of the census records lists a "Lewis Parker" of about the right age living in Hiram's household).

Charles Lewis Parker married Jennie (Jane) S. Brown of Bartlett, NH and had the following children:

Steward E. Parker b. 4 Aug. 1874, Hart's Location, NH
Martha J. Parker b. 19 Jul. 1876 or 1877, Bartlett, NH
Sarah (Sadie) Parker b. 10 May 1878, Whitefield, NH
Lillian (Lizzie) Parker b. 22 Mar. 1886, Bethlehem, NH.

Many thanks!
