Hello,

I am a direct realative of the Moody's in Gilmanton. There was a Captain John Moody who lived (and died) in Gilmanton, but he died in 1829. He did have a son, John, who to my knowledge was not a minister.

Try contacting the Belmont Town Hall, the old Gilmanton records are kept there.
