Per 1850 census:

Born 1815/16 in NH (I'd been guessing)

In Boston in 1850; occ: public house

Brothers may have been William P. (or D.) Shute, b.~1822, NH and Alonzo Shute, b.~1830, Mass as they were both living with him & his family in 1850.

Can anyone help? Thx
