Not only is it extremely common last name in Vietnam, but even here in America, especially where there is a high population of Vietnamese, like San Jose, and Houston. In my highschool, my graduating class had twelve Nguyens. Now here at Texas A&M (Gig 'em Aggies, Whoop!) There is a football player named Dat Nguyen who is going to go play pro.
