Thanks for your response, I would love to chat with you also. I have only recently been researching the Neylands, unfortunately, my family was never interested so I did not get a lot of information from them. My G-G-G-Grandfather was John Lewis who was Gilbert's brother. I have a lot of information about the Texas Neylands, but I would love to compare notes with you to see if they are the same. I also don't have much info about the Neylands prior to Texas, maybe you can fill in the blanks. This may not be a wise thing to do, but you can phone me 585-385-0796. I would be glad to call you back and absorb the cost. It may be easier to talk over the phone than to pass messages back and forth.
