James Neyland was born in Dublin c 1824. His parents were William Neyland a soldier in the 88th regiment of foot and Isabella Crile. William Neyland was born in Belleek Fermanagh and died in Maryborough Aiustralia. Isabella Crile was born near Berwick upon Tweed Northumberland. They married in Berwick upon Tweed in 1818 as William's regiment was stationed in Berwick for about 4 years at this time. Isabella Crile died near Williamtown Victoria.
