Carl, Here is were I think your line fits in???
Robert ney est(db 1728- dd1786) - Sarah ??? est(db 1736 - dd 1786).
Robert(1728) and Sarah had two sons Robert and Mathew. Maybe more but I have been unable to find.
Robert db 1776, dd unknown -Margaret ?? db 1780 dd unknown
Robert 1776 and Margaret ?? had 8 children
One of the children was Robert db 1813 with no other information about him.
I think your elder robert could be robert 1728.
