I interested in hearing from any New Zealand Orchard's. The first of 'my' Polesworth, Warwickshire, England Orchard's to immigrate to New Zealand was William Orchard and his wife Mary Ann (nee Cope) in 1850 aboard the "Randolph" and they settled in Lyttleton in the South Island. He was later followed by some other members of his family, brother's Charles (married to Jane Boss - my husbands line of descent) and Samuel (married an Eliza Bosworth in New Zealand), sisters Mary Ann (married a Thomas Preece in New Zealand) and Maria (married to Henry Nicholls).
