I have found these postings while investigating on my own behalf. My own grandmother was a Greenwood, and grew up in Manukau Road in the homestead that was the Greenwoods home. As I understood the property was bought in the first Auckland land sale. My grandmother was one of several Greenwood children. Her father had married twice. She was Nina Greenwood, and I remember my Great maiden aunts, Anne and Ella living in the property until the late 1950's. Family names that I remember being mentioned are Norman, Ada, Anne Ella and of course, my own grandmother Nina. I remember Aunt Ella, who had been a teacher and had a Business School saying a lot of the information had been archived in the Alexander Turnbull library in Wellington.
