1.Read info on Oscar Davis Flamank at http://www.nzetc.org/tm/scholarly/tei-Cyc04Cycl-t1-body1-d2-d49-d10.htmlhttp://www.nzetc.org/tm/scholarly/tei-Cyc04Cycl-t1-body1-d2-d49-d10.html
2. He is buried at Anderson's Bay Cemetery in Dunedin.A few others with that surname also in that cemetery.Search at http://www.dunedin.govt.nz/facilities/cemeteries/cemeteries_searchhttp://www.dunedin.govt.nz/facilities/cemeteries/cemeteries_search
I found a record that says his father was Rev. Henry Flamank, born about 1845 and died at age 52 in 1897.Buried at Hamiltons (East?) Cemetery, Central Otago. If you order his birth cert from the NZ BDM site, it should verify parents.Birth Reg. No. 1858/2989
Sister to OD was Ethel Forbes Flamank, born 2 Apr 1871. She married Robert Lorimer McLatchie in 1897. Probably other siblings. It's such an unusual surname that you might do some search at the NZ BDM site and see what comes up.http://bdmhistoricalrecords.identityservices.govt.nz/home/http://bdmhistoricalrecords.identityservices.govt.nz/home/
Youb should also do a search at PapersPast as there are mentions of the Flamank family.http://paperspast.natlib.govt.nz/http://paperspast.natlib.govt.nz/
