Hello Lyn, did a little more digging - Thomas died 1949 aged 86yrs and Marian died 1961 - no age given. They are both buried at Invercargill along with Robert Henry who died in 1903 aged 15 months. There is also an Alexander Scott Smellie d. 1976, 65yrs and Mary Jane, died 1981, 66yrs, but I cannot check the parents because our records go only to 1909.
It is strange that no bdm death record came up for either Thomas or Marian, but they do seem to have quite a few mistakes!
