I previously posted a message to you today but made a mistake with one of the names.

My GGG grandmother, Sarah Orchard (nee Pearcy) emigrated to Lyttelton, NZ in 1856 with her daughter Mary Ann and granddaughter. I believe more of her sons also emigrated around this time, possibly the first being her eldest son William (jnr) married to Mary Ann Cope, emigrating around 1850.

Another of Sarah's sons is George Orchard - my GG grandfather and I believe I may have typed this as Thomas in my previous posting - getting confused with a GG grandfather on the other side of my tree that I am researching.

I cannot find Fanny Fairbrother Orchard (Mary Ann's other daughter) on the passenger list with them although I know she also emigrated to New Zealand and am still looking for her emigration details.

Would love to hear from anyone connected with my family
