I hope this is ok..... I created a group focused on the Newport surname and related surnames which are related through marriage you can find the group here

I would like to invite anyone who is researching the Newport surname or related surnames. Also I would like to invite those of you who have already done research in the Newport surname.

My goal is get everyone together in one group to share and learn what information we have. I know of at least two Newport lineage however who is to say the two lineages are not related ?

If you have any interest at all please join us. The group is rather new but already have 4 members and I am sure it will grow.
