Clarene, I also descend through this line (Susannah/Thomas Burton). A few years back I was able to find several sites that have offered intrepretations stating that William Hatcher's wife was Marion Newport, with supporting facts of their marriage in Dec.1632, Ogburne, Dounty St. George, Wiltshire, England. Also, I found a beautifuly hosted site, the link is: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~vagirl/

As far as I can determine, taking into account intrepretations that dismiss Marion's marriage to William, the supporting conculsions tend to be on the side of their marriage.

You know of course the history of her father?
