Sorry it took so long to get back to you. I think you've found my Sarah NEWMARCH!!!! The date is certainly feasible. I did not know when she was born or who her parents were, only that she married in 1722 at Bigby a William Brocklesby (who died 1759 a pauper). Sarah died in 1789 at Saxby. I don't know who William's parents were.
William's son CHARLES BROCKLESBY married REBECCA RICHARDSON (dau of
WILLIAM RICHARDSON and MARY OGLESBY married 27.12.1735 at Kirmington).
That's all the info I have but am eager for any more and I think you've found it!
What other info do you have on this couple and how are you connected?
You state also that you have an ANN OGLESBY snd wife of Robert Newmarch, m. Elsham 24.2.1728, bp 4.3.1727 Elsham, buried 8.1.1743 which you found in a search of Parish Records. (I'm not sure what "snd" means - do you mean 2nd wife? If so that means these families seem to be inter-connected. What is Richard NEWMARCH's relationship to Edward NEWMARCH, the father of Sarah NEWMARCH from whom I am descended?
Also, in your earlier posting you state that Edward Newmarch's parents were John Newmarch, bu 1721 Cabourne, and Mary ? bu Jan, 26, 1693. What does "bu" mean? Do you mean buried?
Also, your posting re: Brocklesby, can you re-post as I think I missed it. Thanks muchly from NSW Australia.
