Newman DNA RESULTS

There seems to be some interesting results for those Newmans that are descended from Newmans from early PA (early 1700s) and early VA (1600-1700s).

Haplogroup I1 - Lineage II is from a VA line.

Haplogroup R1b1b2 - Lineage I is from a PA line where some its members moved into VA.

I know of a few tests that are still pending and may shed further light to these early Newmans.

As for myself... I do not have the paper trail down (yet), but I match "Haplogroup R1b1b2 - Lineage I."
