Newlins in Parker-Denver Area
Posted by: Chris Alvarez (ID *****1320) Date: April 23, 2008 at 13:39:16

I am trying to find a connection to my Maternal Grandfather- My Mother's maiden name was Newlin, I believe that my grandfathers name was either John or James Newlin and he would have been born in Denver around 1900 or so (?) My mother was born in 1932.

The only other name I have is James Franklin Newlin who was born in Denver City in 1874 (My great-gr grandfather?) then moved to Montrose Colorado. My mother had always said her father was born in Denver however.

I am ultimately trying to connect my Grandfather's line of Newlins to the William Newlin who lived in Parker Colorado and who Newlin Gulch was named after- I want to see if I am related to the Parker Newlin line.

Thank you in advance for any assistance!
