I am also a Newlands. My Grandfather was born in Rafford in Elgin Scotland. He had a brother Andrew born Sept 06 1895 I don't know any more than that about him. ... where he was born etc. Could this be your grandfather ?? It would be great if it was. My Great grandparents were William Newlands and Jessie Mason My parents lived just outside Edinburgh.
