I have no idea if this is related but just a fact for you to have. George D. Newhall was a Wholesale & retai music dealer in Cincinnati Ohio in 1875. It was called Dobmeyer & Newhall Music.'
By 1881 the name had changed to Newhall & Co. and by 1892 it no longer appeared in the city directory. George was apparently dead and only his wife was listed.
I have been trying to make connections to my Newhalls. Mine came from England. Mothers name was Ann-she had at at least two sons, one was Joshua and I'm not sure about others name. If any of this rings a bell or helps get back to me Thanks
