I am researching the family of my great grandmother, Mary Ann Newey. Her father was William Newey b.1810 Birmingham d.1867 Victoria. Mother was Margaret (Hall) b.1810 d.1850.Siblings as follows:
Sarah ( Gunn)Newey b.1831, William b.1835,Henry b.1840, Alfred b.1842, George Enos b.1843 and Samuel Erastus b.1847.
The family came out to Victoria in 1853 and some members went to New Zealand in the 1860's.
Mary Ann married Charles Clark Armstrong in 1858 in Vic. and they lived in Dunedin from 1865 to 1878, then returned to Vic.
Any information regarding the boys or Sarah would be appreciated.
