Lived in Red Oak, Iowa after 1879. I know of three children: Dr. Mary Newell, DDS; Frank B.; and Robert. More children?
He was born in 1849 of M J Newell & Martha Jane Officer. Margaret born in Brooklyn, NY in 1854; but was living in Chicago, IL in Jan 1879 when married.
Their daughter, Mary, was a dentist in Chicago, and was raised by her aunt, Mary Boyce McEldowney after her mom died in 1910.
Margaret is my great-aunt.
Any help appreciated.
