Helen -- these are not my folks, but as a Newell researcher I do have a few notes. Josiah was son of William Hardin Newell (ca1822 KY) and gson of Landon Newell (ca1784 VA). Josiah and family were on the following censuses:
1860 Pulaski Co., KY Dist 1 #1198/1153
1870 Pulaski Co., KY Mt. Gilead #31
1880 Lawrence Co., IN Mitchell #217/229
1900 Camp Co., TX JP 3 #52
1910 Murray Co., OK Davis Wd 2 #60/61
1920 Grayson Co., TX Denison Wd 5 #91/100. He died before 1930 and Sarah was on the 1930 Hunt Co., TX Pct 1 #13 living with son Everett. Josiah and Sarah were also living with Everett in 1920.
