Looking for parents of William Newcomer of Rockbridge Co., VA and later of Bath Co., VA. William was born about 1798 (according to census records) and married Elizabeth Smith in 1820. I believe his father's name may have been Jacob, but not sure.
Also, William's son William married Susanna Saville. Am looking for the whereabouts of some of their children: Nancy (Nannie) b. abt 1849, James Henry (b. 1854), Mary Catherine (b. 1858), and William David (b. 1860).
