Dear Nita,

Thank you so much for your interesting info. The only other names that I have connected with my Catharine Newcomer are these: She had a daughter or granddaughter named Catharine Lechrune or Lecrone. Catharine Lechrune or Lecrone had a daughter named Catharine Strohm or Strome.

My daughter Catherine has inherited a pewter plate from my aunt, Velma Catharine Beery George. On the back was taped a paper saying that the plate had been passed down through the family to the daughter or granddaughter named Catharine. Velma's grandmother was Catharine Strohm Beery. The paper mentions Catharine Strohm, her mother, Catharine Lechrune, and her grandmother, Catharine Newcomer.

I am looking for the parents of all three of these women: Catharine Strohm Beery (my great grandmother, a Mennonite who lived in Ohio), Catharine Lecrone, and Catharine Newcomer.

Thanks to anyone who has help!
