I am decendents of the Newcombs from TN!! As much as I know:

David Crockett Newcomb married Patient Fare. I do not have any dates for b, m, or d'.s

They are parents of William Alexander Newcomb, b: 12-14-1864, in TN. He married Daisy Dorathula Casey, b: 11-20-1876, in Bruno, AR, Married: 8-1909 in Pryor, Ok!

My grandfather, Joseph Cullen Newcomb plus 3 siblings and 6 half siblings are their children. Joseph was born in Durant, OK, on 1-7-1914.

I read that you have a book on the Newcomb family. Is there any connections that you know of. Or is there any way I can get a copy of the book?

I am new to the research of family history. I was given 2 other branches of my tree by other relatives back to the 1500's. I understand that the Newcomb branch married into the Cherokee tribe - grandfather is 1/4. But want to follow-up on the Newcombs to bring them up to the other two.

I hope you can help me!! Please respond either way if you would.
