James died before Sept. 4, 1785 and MAY have served 3 years plus time in the Rev. War. Did Elizabeth his wife remarry? My 4th grt. grandfather and youngest brother of Sarah "Sally" Moody NEWCOMB's, was Joseph MOODY b.c1781 who married 1st to Content CROCKETT of Gorham, ME and 2nd to Hannah MITCHELL and they moved to Brunswick, Maine. I am certain that some of Sarah Moody NEWCOMB's descendants are out there and would love to be in contact with them as we would be "cousins's" and perhaps you could share family stories with me that have been passed down through your family. You can leave a message here and I'll contact you or you can leave a message for me (Newcomb-Moody) at the MOODY page here as well as I am more often found over there. Thank you for any help.
