Hey Everyone,
I know this is a long shot, but I really need help. I am searching for information on my gggrandmother. My ggrandmother was Emily Catherine Sullivan. She was born in 1854 and died in 1937. On the death certificate her mother is listed as Sallie Newbury or Newberry(I can't read the writing). Sallie was married to John Sullivan. The death record lists her mother(Sallie) as being born in Weakley Co, TN. I have some doubts if her name was really Sallie, and may have been Mary instead. I know in one census around 1860 or 70 there's a Mary Sullivan listed with her daughters Emily and Kate, and Emily did have a sister named Kate. Emily went on to marry Marshall L. Rhodes and Kate married John Phillips. I really need help locating the family of Sallie/Mary Newbury. Do these names sound familiar to anyone out there?
