Cairo
Sarah Margaret NEWBROUGH, 65, of Newport, Ohio, died Sunday evening at the Mari Antoinette Nursing Home, Marietta.
She was born in Ritchie County, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Abner and Edna JENKINS PHILLIPS. She was a member of the Methodist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Willie M. NEWBROUGH of Newport, and Charles Franklin NEWBROUGH of Harrisville, WVa; a daughter, Mrs. Carolyn Sue WILSON of Cairo, WVa; three brothers, Orville PHILLIPS and Abner PHILLIPS Jr., both of Parkersburg, WVa, and Calvin PHILLIPS of Smithville, WVa; four sisters, Ruby NICHOLS and Imogene BOOKMAN, both of Parkersburg, Georgia DEEM of Veto Lake, Ohio, and Mary DEEM of Smithville, WVa. and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Lee NEWBROUGH.
Services will be Wednesday, 1 p.m., in the Raiguel Funeral Home with the Rev. Carlton Wilson officiating. Burial will be in the Cairo IOOF Cemetery. Friends may call after 1:00
p.m. today.
