I have this John Newbill in my background, he is my gr-gr-gr-grandfather. I have done extensive research at the Library of Virginia and have your John Newbill born abt 1775 according to the 1810 Virginia Census. His son was also named John born abt 1814 and according to the 1850 Census this John's mother or wife of the John born abt 1775 was named Ann.
I show the wife of John born 1914 as Eliza Holland and the children as: George Thomas (my gr-grandfather), Rosabella, John H, Josephine, Rosa B, Ephonia, and Emma J.
Which daughter is your gr-grandmother?
I have extensive information on this Newbill line, but cannot go passed John born 1775 because the "Yankees" burn many of the records during the Civil War.
I do know we descend from Frances Newball transported to Virginia in 1651 with his 4 sons.
Please let me hear form you as to how our lines connect.
