Do you have any reference to Bertha or Henry NEWBERGER, both born in LA, 1858 & 1861, and who emigrated to MS. by 1880? They had a German/Jewish ancestry, and their father may have been killed in the Civil War. Bertha became Mrs. Simon SCHWARTZ. Henry was blind. Both died in Greenville, MS. and are buried in the Jewish Cemetery there. I have no parental or ancestrial info at this time.
