Assuming that this person used that name in Sweden, it would have been spelled Nyberg. Ny = new. Berg = hill, mountain.

This may be your Alma Ahroon, who has an unusual name but then again, I see three hits with that name apparently born in different years. Information comes from the Emihamn database of CD Emigranten. Emihamn was made from registrations with Swedish port police before leaving Sweden.
