The NEW family that you mentioned is the same family Nancy Ann NEW is in. There is a tree for this family on www.familysearch.org that has William Edward NEW, son of Edward NEW and Amanda Maude Hillen, marrying Josephine Tu Koo Ju Ti Tus Ka Colston on May 11 1895 in New Chelsa, Indian Territory. In the Index And Final Rolls Of Citizens And Freemen Of The Cherokee Tribe (c1903) Josephine says she is full blood and the children are half blood. In the 1900 census, Josphine says she is 1/2 blood, and the children are 1/4 blood. The children are Ezra E., Isaac Arthur, Nancy Ann, Sarah, William Dennis, Cora L., Floyd, Claude, and Lloyd, best as I can tell.
As I mentioned, the LDS church does not have microfilms of church records from Evesham. Do church records exist, and are they in any local libraries there?
So, what surname, or geographical, group did all your NEW DNA members join at FamilyTreeDNA?
I do know know if any of the Yates surname group members have tested with Sorenson, or any other projects. FamilyTreeDNA set up a website called Y-search for testers from all projects to join for free to compare their results. http://www.ysearch.org/http://www.ysearch.org/
