George Washington Nevins (1847 IN) was a son of John W. Nevins (1821 IN). John W. Nevins and Martha Ann Goodsell were married in Parke Co., IN. They had 9 children. On April 14, 1856 John W. Nevins married Mary Webster Cooper in Parke Co., IN They had 4 more children. John W. and Martha Ann (Goodsell) Nevins are buried at the Nevins Cemetery, Parke Co., IN. I just ran across this post and am very interested in the information above as George Washington Nevins is my gg grandfather.
