Hi. I have just recently uncovered some Nevins in my line. I am looking for information on the following:
Mary E. "Mollie" Barnett and Jeremiah Nevins. They were married Sept. 5, 1892 in Vigo Co., IN. The had the follwing children:
1. George Nevins, b. June 1874, m. Myrtle Unknown
2. Cloval Nevins, b. Sept. 1880
3. Elizabeth Nevins, b. March 1883
4. Lulu Nevins, b. April 1885, m. Aug. 15, 1900 to Percy Carithers
5. Grover Nevins, b. April 1887
6. Jesse Nevins, b. May 1889
7. John Nevins, b. May 21, 1889 (not sure if above Jesse and John were twins or maybe one and the same person.)
8. Cora C. Nevins, b. May 1891
9. Lillie Nevins, b. 1892, m. Agu. 18, 1909 to Michael H. Broderick
10. Cecil J. Nevins, b. Aug. 1897
I have found Mary and Jerry Nevins on the 1900 Nevins Township, Vigo Co., IN census with 8 children. No Lillie or no John.
One the 1920 Nevins Township, Vigo Co., census Mary is listed as a widow living with sons Jesse and Cecil and Mary's brother, William Barnett.
Any info on this line greatly appreciated.
