Greetings.
I am James Colmer Brown, grandson of Elizabeth Jane NEVIN Remmers. Elizabeth was born 16 July 1886 at Rockland Lake, Rockland, New York. Her father was Patrick W. NEVIN and her mother Catherine LEHAN Nevin. Patrick W. NEVIN died on 01 December 1910 in New York.
I believe that both Patrick and Catherine were born in Ireland. I do not know anything more and wondered if anyone reading this is also related to Patrick and Catherine. They had other children, in addition to my grandmother, Elizabeth, including:
James Patrick NEVIN
Margaret NEVIN
Mary NEVIN Cassidy (living in Piermont, NY in 1916)
Catherine NEVIN Davis (living in Nyack, NY in 1916)
In 1916 Catherine LEHAN Nevin drew up her Last Will and Testament in Palisades, NY. It is in that Will that the towns of residence were noted.
