Very interested in this Nancy Graham Starr -- did she and John have children? I have a John Nevins born 1820 who arrives in Iowa in 1848 with no wife and a 10 year old son -- am assuming his first wife died somewhere in Indiana as the son listed on the Census that he was born Indiana @ 1839/40. We have not been able to locate where this John Nevins was born or who his parents were.
He married a Sarah Bennett in Polk Co Iowa and then moved to Valley Falls Kansas. Have info on all his children but have hit a wall on first wife and parents. When and where did Nancy Graham Starr die?
