Tracing on Mary Cornelia Nevils the daughter of Lewis Nevils of Blackville, SC
She married Confederate Soldier, William Floyd Turner, they are my maternal great grandparents.

Mary Cornelia was an aunt to a woman named Ella. Ella married to C. M. Van Orsdell, Jr, a famous photo artist during the mid-to late 1800's. He lived in Orangeburg/Bamberg area. and later NCar.

Ella, was one tripletts (three girls), one died age about 5, one died age about 15-16 her name was Cornelia. Two of the tripletts were listed on 1880 census in NCarolina census probably around Cape Fear area where father, C. M. Van Orsdell was well known photographer. would like to know the maiden name of the tripletts, I have photos of them. They would be nieces to Mary Cornelia Nevils.

will share photos with any descendents of Ella the triplett who survived, Ella had a child, also named Ella who married James Cook who died (he a barber) in Columbia, SC in the 1960's, they had a son , James Cook.
probably still living.
anyone know these Cooks?
