I thought that I had this connection figured out with the help of LDS and Genforum. However, now I have found a book by William Henry Egle, published in 1891 that changed my thinking. He claims in "Notes and Queries: Historical, Biographical and Genealogical" that Nancy Neville, who married Capt. William O'Bannon, was the daughter of Gen. Joseph Neville, brother of Gen. John Neville and son of Richard Neville and Anne Burroughs. He claims to have obtained the information from the grandson of Nancy Neville and William O'Bannon, Mr. Bryant O'Bannon Utterbach, The Plains, Fauquier county, Virginia.
Can anyone clarify this information for me?
