Your right, I am Ethel's younger half sister's son, however Ethel (her nickname Sis and/or Sister given to her by her younger sister and then carried on by her nephews including myself the youngest of four), raised me. In 1994, Sister had a massive stroke, which survived for 10 years after that. Being that she raised me and that we were very very close (as close as any mother and son could be)instead of her going into a nursing home, I managed to keep her home even though she was total care for the next ten years. She did pass away exactly five years ago as of August 31st. I believe I do still have one picture of Milton in his police uniform. For a very short time he was a NYC police officer.
I remember every once in a while she would wonder what happened to her father and wondering if he ever had any more children. By the way Ethel was born, October 23, 1922.
I also remember her mentioning that Milton had a sister that she would see once in a while (I think). Do you have any information on her. It has been a great number of years that I even thought of any of this.
I have in the past googled her name in hopes of finding something but it has been a while - at least a year. Due to her passing away August 31, 2004 I just got to thinking and decided to google it once again.
I hope to hear from you soon and thank you so much for posting the info on this site. I am estatic.
I hope we can continue to share information.
