My database contains Merritt Haden Never's line back to Richard Nevers and his wife Martha of Middlesex Co., Massachusetts during the last quarter of the 1600s. Richard's son Elisha Nevers, born about 1702 in Woburn, Mass. was a New England Planter who came in 1763 to the Saint John River in New Brunswick. Several of his descendants still live here. Duke M. Nevers was born in Hartland, New Brunswick, migrated first to the Wisconsin and Minnesota area, and eventually to Snohomish, Washington, where he died.
