We have solved where Karla's line came from. K"uckelheim, Westfalen, Prussia. Recently we found a missing side to Karla Mahlberg's Neuhauser family. They spell their name Newhouser. Herman Newhouser is a son of Antony Neuhauser. I believe Antony is brother to our Franz. I found one census record showing him born 1808 and another born 1803. I believe he was born in 1803 and is the son of Johannes Neuhauser, Antony Ferdinandus. Back to Herman, living in 1900 in Gilberton East Ward, Schuylkill, PA. He was born 1851 in New York. Herman moved to PA before 1886. He married Hannah abt 1885. He had four children by 1900 but one had died. His surviving children are Carrie, Willie and Daniel. Carrie was born Jun 1886, William born Mar 1889 and Daniel born Aug 1892. Herman was coal miner. We have found Newhouser's living today in Schuylkill Co., PA and are trying to get in touch with them.
