Hello Edith,

On your inquiry, I can offer the following:

Aaron A. Neufeld (my g grandfather), b Oct 04, 1858 in Russia; d Jan 09, 1930 in Bakersfield, Kern Co., CA; m Sarah Isaak Jan 27, 1882 in Russia; b Jul 23, 1861 in Russia d Apr 15, 1961 in Reedly, Fresno Co., CA.

Aaron A. Neufeld was the son of Abraham Neufeld, b abt. 1840 in Russia and Ida Regehr b in Russia

Abraham Neufeld, was the son of Peter Johann Neufeld, b 1812 in Russia and Anna Wiens, b 1814 in Russia.

As for Sarah Isaak, she was the daughter of Abraham Isaak and Sarah Fast (aka) Sarah Voth.

Incidentally, Aaron A. Neufeld and Sarah Isaak had eleven children - if you are interested, I can supply information on them.

The above information was obtained from "Neufeld Family Tree" compiled by Gloria Hall, October 2000.

My mother told me that her grandmother, Sarah (Isaak) Neufeld, had a sister who had emigrated to Canada from Russia but had no further information - so this was new to me. It appears we are cousins.

Hope all this helps at least some.

Gail
