Dear Mr. Blair,

I don't have any concrete news for you.
However, I did have relatives named Neubauer in KY in the early 1900's. My grandmother was born there in Owensboro KY in 1912. I don't know if that's near Pike Co. but I figure it's worth a shot. Her parents were Ernest Neubauer and Constance Alvy. Her grandfather was the first Neubauer in his line in America I believe and was named John. I know Ernest died in 1915.
I don't know if my grandmother had siblings or cousins but I do recall hearing about electricians and mining. I hope this is of some interest or help to you. If not, best of luck in your quest.
