Donna; Thank you for the reply to my earlier msg about the collection of family history material in the possession of a widow of a Nethers. You did not state whether the group in Nethers, VA operates (or has) a public curatorial facility or if it is composed of interacting individuals who have a common interest in Nethers genealogy and family history. The widow will not donate the material to an individual in such a group; she will donate only to a public archive facility that will catalog and curate the material according to museum/archive standards. Give me more info about the Nethers, VA situation.
