In that time many French Hugenots fled to the Netherland; these protestants were chased in France. The name of the wife Des Marets is French. In Delft you will find a district named Vrijenban (= free of ban). Most were intellectuals and lived mostly in Delft or Leiden.
The name Roelof Lucassen Sebring means: Roelof, son of Lucas Sebring. So, you must search on the name Se(u)bring(h).
See: http://www.angelfire.com/ny/chickened/sebringfamily.html
So, search in France, hugenots.
