VANDENBERG: Gysbert b. ~1620 Breukelen, Holland, Gerritt2, Barent3, Jannetje4=NY
My paternal grandmother's Goewey family is through Gysbert Cornelise van den Berg born ca 1620 in Breukelen (formerly written as Brueuckelen) and married Lysbeth near the Dutch town Utrecht in the central part of The Netherlands.

Information at this link gives a lot of info about Gysbert Cornelisz van den Berg m. Teuntje (ps. "Cornelisz" means "son of" Cornelis and "Cornelisse" means "dau of Cornelis" and "Berg" was also written as "Bergh", same pronounciation).
They immigrated through New York City probably by 1650s to Albany, New York. I'm related to Gerrit G. Vandenberg married 1665 Teuntje.
