Wilhelmina Catharina Kamperdijk 1822
Posted by: Douglas Appleyard (ID *****5030) Date: November 05, 2011 at 10:15:29

Hi, I am trying to find out more information about Wilhelmina Catharina Kamperdijk (born 11 May 1822) in Utrecht who was daughter of Gerardus Samuel Kamperdijk (1799c - 1863) and Catharina Dijkman (1798c - 1882). Wilhelmina's daughter Maria Wilhelmina (born 11 Feb 1842) has no father's name on the index record. Presumably, this means that the father was not known or did not want to be known. I am curious about this because prior to this all the family knew was 'that Maria's mother was a baroness or something in her own right'. Please can anybody help me or point me in the right direction.
For the record, Maria married Pieter Theunisse, moved to London. Pieter met up with another woman, had some children, and after Maria's death, Pieter changed his name to William Smit (a pseudonym he had been using previously) and married the woman.
