Help With Research -Amsterdam Netherlands
I'm trying to locate birth info on my Father-in-law.But when I found whom I believe is his mom on a ships manifest, it stated she was going to the Consolate of the Netherlands in NY. It also stated the three boys traveling with her had "No Mother".
And her brother, as stated on the ships manifest: stated he was Vice Council to the Netherlands in NY or it was for
the woman listed prior to him.But there is a connection
between the two of them and it is her father's last name.
Can some one help guide me on this proceedure of immigrants going to the consolate during that time period 1913-1914? Could it be possible that the children were orphans? I might need help translating the address listed there also.
You can respond thru this site or my e-mail: [email protected]
Any advice would be appreciated,
