Would you give a little more information regarding Alida? Was her husband's surname "Osterheld" if she married? Children? Year she immigrated? Married or unmarried when she came here?
I could only find one Alida Lingen born in Rotterdam around the year you mention:

There was an Alida Osterheld who died in Westchester County, NY in 1976 who is listed as being born on 10 March but in 1884. Is this who you are looking for? If it is then I believe that her birth year is incorrect here in the States (not unusual to have happened, especially for immigrants).
