Hello Nancy,
I have been in the archive of Amsterdam but till now the results,I think ,are disappointing.
I found a kind of family-record of the Glauburg family but on that no information were Hendrik went to.
When his son Hendrik Lodewijk Georg got married ,09-Dec-1891 in Amsterdam (he died 28-Jun-1943 in Amsterdam ) with Gerardina Anna Parree, on the marriage-record was written that the whereabouts of his father Hendrik is unknown nor do they know if he's still alive.
When I look at all the information it puzzles me a little.
Henry Glauberg ,found on FamilySearch ,is born around 1840
Hendrick,found by John, is born around 1829 and
Hendrik, from Amsterdam, is born in 1823 ?
I think you mentioned before you have seen de marriage-record of Hendrik and Helena Coeterier.
Do you know where they got married ?
Also do you know where his father Lodewijk and Grietje de Vos where married ?
You also mentioned that Lodewijk's name is Heinrich Ludwig George. How do you know this ?
On Genlias I found a death-notice of a Lodewijk Hendrik George, died in 1873 in Ommen, province of Overijssel.
Maybe that's Hendrik's father ?
Now we have to find someone who have a look on that record to see what information is on that record.
I will try to ask on a Dutch-forum if someone can help us out.
